Congratulations to the Jones International University Class of 2013
Message from our Chancellor
I’m proud to express my gratitude to each of you on your graduation from Jones International University. Why gratitude? Because you are now more ready to contribute to your own personal well being, and to the well being of your families, your communities, and your nation. In other words, all of us will benefit from your achievements and contributions. The two professions you represent, business and education, provide the foundation for a nation’s prosperity and stability.
Your education prepares you to conquer the challenges of today’s rapidly evolving and fast-paced technological era. You represent forty-six states in the United States, six countries around the world and multiple races and religions. You can be leaders who convert challenges into opportunities wherever you live and work. You can be leaders whose intelligence and experience benefit the lives of others.
I look forward to hearing about your accomplishments in the months and years ahead. Again, congratulations to each of you and warmest best wishes.

Dr. Toni Hull always knew she wanted to be an educator. She says it’s her calling and her story proves it continues to be a source of passion that helps drive change across the nation.
Toni‘s grandparents immigrated from Italy and as a boy, her father sold shopping bags and shined shoes to help his family. As a result, he did not graduate high school. He was determined and hardworking and eventually earned his high school equivalency and continued schooling to become an X-ray technician. His drive and passion motivated Toni to work hard and value education as a benchmark for opportunity in life. He wanted her to have the educational opportunities that he did not, thus igniting a spark that would light her educational journey.
